Daniel began his musical career as a singer and songwriter in 1997 at 15 years old during high school music festivals, where he earned the nickname “Hulk”. Mixing percussive world rhythms with pop music launched an original set-list of his own. He has three albums recorded with his first band, with whom he participated in major festivals and travelled across Brazil. Songs like Sentinela and Vendedor de Cajuína are still striking presences on the Brazilian radio and concerts. Currently, he has been living in Toronto and is part of the Lusophony community of artists. Irreverence and lots of energy are the trademarks of his work that walks through pop, rock, folk and reggae.
