Biography

Born on May 4, 1989, the Capixaba (name used to describe people from the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil) Junior Dias, initiated his love for the accordion at the age of 10, influenced by his father and neighbourhood friends. What was a hobby, became a dream and life purpose. During his musical career, he’s acquired two awards of Best Accordionist; in 2007 at the National Festival of Forró in Itaúnas – ES, where in 2010 he was also awarded the for best song, and in 2018 at the National Festival of Forró in Montanha – ES. The singer, writer and accordionist has collaborated with artists such as Domiguinhos, Mestre Zinho, Dió de Araújo. Today, as a solo artist, he travels the world from Brazil and Canada, recently to Russia, England, and Holland, to launch and promote his first EP of original songs.
