Sofia dos Santos

Born in Portugal, Sofia immigrated to Canada when she was 7 years old. From singing to her younger sister in the crib, to singing in the shower, to singing in a band, to being hand-selected to share the stage with Shania Twain, to performing as part of Latin Jazz trios and quartets, to currently being part of a kick-ass cover band duo – music has always been interwoven into the fabric of her being. Always listening to multiple genres from past and present artists/musicians, Sofia cannot begin to describe her musical influences as they are so varied and eclectic. As a vocalist, Sofia aims to interpret songs or lyrics in a way that is engaging, compelling, honest and soulful. As an artist, her hope is to live a life full of music, leaving an inspiring, timeless and soul-satisfying music legacy that inspires the world to celebrate, to heal, and to love.
